I completed my PhD from University of Surrey in Guildford in the area of Electronic Engineering and currently I'm working in the Telecom sector. I'm a friendly and sociable person with strong communication skills. I have performed leadership roles throughout my career and find it easy to take a mentoring role.
My subject area is more of an Applied Sciences domain however I have always loved pure sciences especially Mathematics and Physics.
I have been tutoring in since early 2009 and have gained plenty of valuable experience. I have worked with students of different age groups, starting from KS2 to A-levels. I had also been one of Maths tutors at University of Surrey and worked with undergraduate students.
I have had extensive experience of demonstration and tutoring before my current engagements. During my undergraduate studies, I did tutoring during most of the semesters. During my PhD, I have done lab demonstration on a couple of occasions. Besides this, I taught a course on computer programming in C language at a computer college that spanned over three months.
I believe in taking an approach based on the needs and expectations of the tutee. I would be very happy to help the tutee absorb the important concepts and provide a lead in tackling specific problems. While ensuring this, I remain mindful of the need to cover the syllabus and follow a schedule to prepare adequately for the exam. I believe in being goal-oriented.
