I am a qualified teacher and have been working in education for 12 years. I find it really rewarding to see how students grow in confidence and academic ability when they receive 121 tuition. I have a degree in biology as well as postgraduate business and teaching qualifications. I am also a biology iGCSE Examiner. I have taught AQA and OCR GCSE Sciences and triple biology.

I can offer tutition from regular weekly or fortnightly GCSE level through to booster sessions for mocks or on specific topics such as required practicals for GCSE's.

Tutoring Experience

A science teacher and biology examiner with experience of teaching all examination boards for GCSE combined science, biology, chemistry and physics. I have taught KS3 and KS4 combined science as well as A level biology. I currently tutor Mondays and am available daytime, after school and evenings. I am available for online tuition at other times, please contact me to find a mutually convenient time.

Tutoring Approach

I love working with students on an individual basis, using models and real life examples to explain concepts. Flexible with school holidays and revision schedules I will work with you to get the best results.

I can set regular homework or exam papers if required for students. I offer the first session free as I find that we need to discuus and plan content as well as get to know each other and work out where their strengths and weaknesses are.

My tuition is in my home office on Mondays or online aI have more flexibility and can accomodate other evenings. I currently only have 1 space on a monday evening at 6.15pm at my home office, otherwise I have availability online on Tuesday 4.30pm or 5.30pm, Thursday 6.30pm or Friday 4.30pm.
