I am a committed, passionate primary school practitioner, with over 10 years of experience holding a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. I am a highly motivated teacher and get immense satisfaction from forging strong and respectful relationships with my students. I have extensive experience tutoring both face-to-face and online, catering to a range of ages, abilities, and learning styles. My endeavor is to challenge, nurture, and inspire my students, supporting their growth into happy, well-informed, ambitious young people. My interests include travel, playing the guitar, cookery, photography reading, and Children’s literature.
I have considerable tutoring experience and have taught everything from Nursery to Year 6. I am a highly adaptive and capable teacher with extensive curriculum knowledge across all the key stages. I have extensive online experience, teaching across all curriculum areas. I consider myself to have strong computing skills and know-how to use a variety of apps and software to make online learning seamless, interactive and engaging. I particularly enjoy teaching maths and English and I am a highly experienced and competent phonics teacher. In addition to this, I have experience in creating bespoke interventions to nurture and support children with various learning difficulties including autism (including high-functioning), ADHD, dyslexia, global delay.
I have a child-centred approach to teaching and often like to plan from my student's interests.
