Tutoring Experience

20+ years teaching maths in a variety of state and independent secondary schools, primary schools and a sixth form college. 15+ years experience as a private tutor teaching maths from KS2 to A'level standard, and also preparing students for 11+. I am also a senior examiner for GCSE and an examiner for A' level maths. I work part time as a learning support tutor in a local prep school. I have a good knowledge of the new GCSE syllabus, the new primary curriculum and the new A'level syllabus. I can tutor online via zoom, which I have used for nearly 2 years, finding it as effective as face to face tutoring. In this time of lockdown, I can support you and meet your needs.

I help my students achieve their potential by giving them encouragement, understanding & individualised attention. I am a friendly and inspiring tutor, and many of my tutees exceed their expected grades. I can tutor online using Zoom, you can download this for free, and it is simple to use. If you live local and then want face-to-face tutoring in the future I can do that.
