I live in Lincolnshire, in a small village with my husband and daughter.
My love of languages started at school amd I have been lucky enough to travel and foster that love of languages. As well as living in France for my year abroad, I have also completed work experience in Germany and done voluntary work in Cyprus.
In my free time, I love to do ballet and I play flute in a local concert band.
I qualified as a teacher 17 years ago, and have had a varied career so far. As well as teaching in Secondary schools up to A-level, I have also done a lot of work in Primary Schools. I have tutored all ages, from 4 upwards and love the variety that tutoring brings.
I am very flexible in my tutoring and make sure that sessions reflect the needs of the student, with regard to their learning style and what they want to get from the sessions. I find that games and activities are great resources for language learning, as this makes sessions fun and encourages communicatiin and repetition. I will always discuss the session plans with the student and askmfor regular feedback so that I can tailor resources and sessions.
I offer a free initial comsultation to give us the chance to have a chat and make sure I understand the student's needs.
