I am currently a Data Analyst, with previous experience in analytics and consulting, after completing my Bachelors degree at the London School of Economics. I studied Business, Mathematics and Statistics, with 2:1 as my result. In my spare time I enjoy dancing, socialising and reading.
I have 10 years of experience tutoring pupils in Mathematics, ranging massively in ages from 8 to 29. I have also taught English to primary school students.
On the first lesson I would assign my student with work to do, which would help me analyse what level they are at and what their strengths and weaknesses are. I focus on topic by topic, first explaining the technique with examples to aid them to understand. I would then give them work to do for themselves as practise is essential, helping and correcting them as they go/when they have finished the task. For online lessons, I tend to conduct these over Zoom where I can utilise the whiteboard, and also request the pupil has a phone at hand to send me pictures of their working out throughout the class. I set homework weekly (unless requested otherwise).
