I am a primary school teacher with experience teaching Year 2, Year 1, and Year 5 students. Currently, I am responsible for a Year 4 class of 28 students, which includes children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). I adapt all teaching materials to cater to the varied abilities within my class. Additionally, I thoroughly enjoy providing one-on-one tutoring and offer sessions for up to two children in the same year group.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught cohorts of year 2 and year 5 pupils at a central London primary school. I work with a range of pupils, majority speaking English as an additional language (EAL) and with various Special Educational Needs (SEND).

I have mentored pupils from Year 2 to Year 6 at the same primary school, leading Maths and English interventions in small groups. Additionally, I have provided one-on-one support for children needing additional support in the classroom. My tutoring experience includes working with children who have various neurodiverse needs, such as ADD, ADHD, and Autism. I have tutored pupils outside of school, across all year groups.

I graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a 2:1 in Law with Psychology. I have graduated from Bath Spa University with a PGDE in Education and Leadership.

Tutoring Approach

I thoroughly enjoy teaching and strive to adapt materials so that every child can access the learning and feel successful.

I take the time to get to know each tutee to understand their learning style and ensure my teaching methods meet their individual needs.

I build strong relationships with pupils, which has been crucial for engaging them and boosting their confidence in an open and motivated classroom.

I am committed to providing your child with the best possible learning experience and look forward to tutoring them!
