Professional, welcoming and friendly. The learning environment seems great fun and though yet to start GCSE Spanish tutoring, my son has already met Hugh and is really looking forward to having him as his tutor the next 2 years.

Many thanks Naoko and I hope Yunosuke continues in his endeavours to improve his Spanish. As he starts to feel more comfortable with the grammar he should be able to concentrate of vocabulary and trying out new constructions and idiomatic phraseology. A real pleasure!!

I can highly recommend Hugh as a Spanish tutor. He did a great job of tutoring my son, improving his Spanish considerably to achieve a grade A at GCSE.

Hello Hugh, I think the tutoring has gone very well. Austen has made excellent progress and his recent work has been graded as a B which is a vast improvement from the level D that he was predicted to finish with. The focused learning has certainly improved his confidence in Spanish and I think that Austen has benefited from having a clear structure to work to. Thanks.

Although this was quite a few years ago my daughter did very well with her spanish gcse after tuition with Hugh she found him easy to discuss the subject with and felt very comftable with him. From a prediction of a D/E she got a B. Alex is now studying medicine in Lancaster University. Thanks for your help Hugh.

Hugh was an excellant tutor, who understood my sons needs completely. He helped george in every area of spanish and in his self belief. When hugh started teaching george he was a grade c student, george gained an A at GCSE this summer. Thank you hugh.

George's performance is testament to what a bit of focused application can achieve when the confused mists are replaced with a little logical clarity through one to one tuition. George persevered and deserved the reward for his efforts.
