I had my first tutor Ian for my GCSE Maths for the past 1 and half year I was with Ian from 2022 Feb - 11 Nov 2023.

I had learned so many key skills with my fundamental GCSE maths knowledge in order to succeed.

Ian was great tutor who is keen to help students learn as well improve their knowledge so long as the students are willing to put in the effort work hard and achieve your daily targets.

Each session Ian would set home-work as targets on areas of maths knowledge where students are able to score heavy on the past papers as well as each lesson it would be solely dedicated to specific topic of MATHS.

Each lesson - Ian would inform all students that all students need to put more down-time on solo studying to get the best possible chance of getting Grade 4.

Ian is good teacher who will push all the students that want to succeed. There were days that It was difficult that I had self doubt however Ian made me super-confident in myself.

I passed GCSE Maths resits at Nov 2023 resits with Ian's helps as well as my own determination and drive.

If you need a tutor to help with getting Grade 4 in GCSE Maths, I strongly recommend Ian .

My daughter was really nervous and is quite introvert but Ian was so supportive and calm she is enjoying the lessons. After 3 lessons she said he helped her with her mocks with just bits of information. Highly recommend.

I can highly recommend Ian for GCSE maths tutoring.
Our son was really struggling prior to exams and we were unsure if he would pass the exam.
He pinpointed where the work was needed and also helped him build confidence and motivation in the subject and coached him techniques on how to approach the exam. I am sure this had an affect on how he approached all the other subjects too.

Ian has really worked wonders with improving my daughter’s grade within a very short period.

After a recent disappointing D in A Level History we decided to hire Ian to help with a retake.

My daughter had a merry-go-round of teachers at her school and was demotivated and disappointed with the D that she achieved. It was with much reluctance that she accepted the offer of a tutor as her confidence was seriously dented. After only a couple of sessions she had completely changed. Fully committed and motivated again, Ian was giving her insight and educational tools to enable her to believe that she could achieve.

We did not expect too much as there was only 8 weeks between results day and the retake, but one grade better would improve her options of universities. After this very short period of time I was overjoyed that she had improved 2 grades from D to a B.

Ian was able to bring out what was there and gave her the confidence to believe that she could do better. The revision tools and techniques he uses are understandable and effective. He has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the subject and is able to teach without seeming condescending.

Overall, Ian has brought out the best in my daughter in a very short time and she is now choosing the universities she wants rather than what she can get into because of it. She is more confident and determined, with a toolkit of techniques that she can use for her future studies.

Amazing. Throughout all of year 12 I used to get Us and Es in all my mocks I did for sociology, and even up until January mocks in year 13 I still got an E, so I decided to get Ian as a tutor for a couple of months. It was the best choice I ever made! I ended up getting a B overall ( two marks of an A) which exceeded my predicted grade which was a D. Ian makes things very simple and easy to understand the content by using mind maps and different resources. So if you are struggling to get a good grade in sociology I highly recommend getting Ian as a tutor!!

A captivating and friendly tutor.
I only had Ian for a few months, but within that time, his depth of knowledge, and range of resources provided me with the best possible aid for my exams. Ian helped me achieve an A* in A level History, taking me above my target grade.
Lessons with Ian are filled with knowledge building, and enabled me to fully grasp themes/topics I had not before. You can clearly see Ian’s passion for his subject. I highly recommend!!

We are currently using Ian to tutor my son and although it is early days in the relationship we have found him to be just right for my sons needs. He is punctual and communicates well. My son feels he has benefitted from the lessons so far so that's a good result.

Ian has been tutoring my son Luke in maths for a couple of months or so and we are very pleased with him. He is friendly, polite and punctual and Luke's confidence in Maths has grown since he began working with Ian. Luke is due to take his GCSEs in a few weeks and I feel confident that Ian's tutoring and support will help him to achieve the higher grade we are hoping for.

My Daughter has just contacted me following Ian's first visit. She said that he was brilliant. He made my Grandson feel relaxed, he had a sense of humour. He gave Luke ideas and websites to use.
