As a newly graduated science enthusiast, I see the world as one big area to explore. I absolutely love meeting new people, learning from others and imparting my own wisdoms and knowledge. I have travelled extensively for leisure, NGO projects and faith-based pilgrimages.
I have worked with neurodivergent, non-verbal children of all ages in both improving language skills and conducting play therapy. I have also tutored GCSE students with diagnosed dyslexia and ensured that my approach has always been wholesome and appreciative of all students. Additionally, I have conducted multiple academic sessions within University for the lower years and have a strong background in teaching GCSE, A-level and University grade content to those of younger and similar ages to myself.
I believe in a student-centred approach. To ensure that any of my lessons are effective, I will adapt to and appreciate the differences in learning styles for all of my students. I like to reframe my lessons with more tricky content and work with the students to increase their confidence when taking on more challenging content. I am a firm believer in constant support and affirmation whilst also allowing the student to find their own strengths independent from their teacher.
Nearing exam times, I will ensure that my students have questions and practise materials to self-evaluate effectively. No mistake is truly a mistake in my class, only a learning curve.
