I have accomplished two honours degrees of BSc (Hons) in Computer Science (Information Management System) and BSc (Hons) in Food Manufacture (Quality Assurance and Technical Management). As regards my academic pursuit, I am currently working on a postgraduate research project in Food Science and Technology. In term of my well-being, I love doing stuffs regarding foods, cars, music, gardening, and travelling which mostly help me to relax. I also enjoy reading in my spare time and sharing knowledge to/with others.

Tutoring Experience

To support my passion for teaching, I completed the Lincoln Award Teacher's Training of the University of Lincoln in 2017. I have joined Teaching Personnel and worked as specialist teaching support/private tutor providing tailor-made math tuition for children in a care home or homeschool children. At present, I provide tuition for maths subject (KS2, KS3, KS4, GCSE, AS, A level (mainly Pure and Statistics) and Functional Skill).

Tutoring Approach

I love numbers and enjoy teaching. I can conduct tuition in English and Indonesian (if necessary). I believe that the most effective teaching, is still the conventional one on one teaching, using papers and pens. Although, I also utilise the strength of research and technology to improve the teaching-learning experience. I believe that everyone would learn in a different way. Thus, I use a versatile method of tutoring combined with the right amount of patience for each individual; as it would never be the same. At present, I can conduct one-on-one tuition either online or face-to-face at my place, or student’s place (within 5 miles radius only and an extra transport charge per lesson will be applied - tbc). To start, I offer a free first an hour trial lesson which is beneficial to assess the teaching and learning chemistry as well as the strengths and weakness of the tutee(s) which then I can identify roughly the current level and gaps (if any) of each individual. So, we can work together to improve the maths from there :)
