Isabel

I graduated with a 2:1 in BSc in Politics and International Relations from the University of Bath. After my undergraduate studies, I worked in sales for edyn, an Aparthotel company for their German and UK markets. This has influenced my decision to continue my studies in a postgraduate MSc in Sustainability and Management at the University of Bath.

Outside of my studies, I have been heavily involved in team sports from a young age. I have played touch rugby since the age of 14 and have continued to play throughout my time at university for the 1XV team and as a graduate, representing the South West Saxons at the England National tournaments.

Tutoring Experience

I currently do not have any formal tutoring experience, however, my extensive academic background enables me to explain difficult concepts in an accessible and engaging way. During my studies, I have regularly assisted my peers with coursework and have developed key communication skills, which have helped me to explain complex ideas clearly and concisely.

Tutoring Approach

My studies required me to break down complex theories and information into manageable ideas, and having the ability to convey information in a clear, structured and engaging manner are skills that will be crucial for tutoring. In addition to my degree, I believe my experiences within both workplaces and athletic activities, have also assisted in fostering an appreciation for creativity and a variety of learning styles. This will help me identify the best techniques to support my student's successes.
