Hi! I am a fully qualified French teacher, experienced in working with 11-18 year olds and adult learners. I have a degree in French and Classics from the University of Oxford and a PGCE with full QTS, and I have been teaching in secondary schools for the past 5 years. I love teaching and sharing my love of French with anyone who wants to learn!

Tutoring Experience

I have been working as a secondary French teacher for the past 5 years, having tutored before that. I am experienced in teaching students with a wide range of abilities and needs, and in creating lessons and resources to meet those needs. I have tutored students in recent years who have struggled with confidence, grammar, vocabulary or all of the above, and they have gone on to fulfil their potential and exceed their own expectations in exams.

Tutoring Approach

I am very flexible in my approach. I am experienced in diagnosing areas of need, but I am equally happy to work with students to pick a particular area of focus, or simply to work through a curriculum. I am encouraging and want everyone to enjoy learning languages!
