Hello, my name is Jabeen and I am caring, kind and enthusiastic teacher. Being such a caring person and always wanting to help others I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a Primary School teacher. I love teaching and using my expertise to support and encourage young people of all ages to reach their full potential. I am able to adapt my teaching style to suit individual needs and make learning fun and interactive.
I have over 15 years experience in the classroom across Key Stage 1, 2 and Early Years. I am currently the Religious Education lead. My teaching experience is broad and this helped me become the teacher I am today. I graduated in 2004 and started my teaching journey in a deprived town school. Here, I quickly learnt making learning fun and engaging with the children was essential. I then moved to an Outstanding school in an affluent area, I taught here for 7 years. This was an amazing experience. I currently work in a Good school which is three form entry. Each school has taught me how to engage with children from all walks of life and how to connect with them which is essential for a positive, respectful teaching relationship.
I treat all my students as individuals, finding a style of teaching which specifically helps them learn. I am very professional and have high expectations. My students have always found me approachable, kind and caring. My aim is to help children achieve their goals and gain confidence in their ability. I always get to know my students, finding out about what they like and dislike. I then plan lessons accordingly to the students needs so they are able to access, understand and excel in their lesson.
