I've just finished a Bachelors degree in Chemical Physics at the University of Bristol (expected to graduate with first class honours) and I'm pursuing a Masters degree in Materials Science and Engineering in September 2025 at the University of Sheffield. I'm a friendly, outgoing person and I love Science, Music and Sport.
I have experience tutoring, mostly with students between 15-18 years old. I've worked with students aiming for Cs (4/5 GCSE) all the way up to students aiming for A*s (8/9 GCSE). On top of this, I've led revision sessions throughout my A-Levels and University education, directed at students younger and the same age as me.
I focus on building foundations, starting with basic concepts and building up to more complex ideas. I adapt to each student I have, making sure to go at their pace and use analogies and examples to support learning.
Each session is based on a different topic or concept, starting with me giving a basic overview and asking the student if there are any parts in particular they struggle with. The second part of the lesson usually involves problems sheets, past paper questions and other resources to support learning. I can also set questions at the end of sessions, which I will mark and give feedback for.
