Jacques

I am a 22 year old recent graduate from Argentina who moved to England aged 10. I am fluent in English, Spanish and French. I graduated University of Cambridge in June 2022 with a high 2.1 in Theology, Religion and Philosophy of Religion. Since then, I have attended a renowned theatre/clown school known as Ecole Philippe Gaulier. I love building relationships with people and helping them, and I am very curious academically.

Tutoring Experience

I started tutoring at age 17, when I volunteered at a local secondary school (Slough and Eton Church of England School) to help students pass their English GCSE. Since then, I have successfully tutored a multitude of people, including a girl who I tutored for the Oxbridge interview and was offered a place to study at Caius College, Cambridge.

Tutoring Approach

As a member of a large family, I am very patient, and will always try to make the students be engaged in the topic before anything else. I am very intellectually curious and fully invest myself in the subjects I am teaching, yet also, since I have a background in theatre training, I am very receptive to people and can adapt my teaching style depending on the student.
