I am currently a 1st year medical student at the University of Manchester but I am originally from Birmingham. In my free time I am either doing karate, training for my upcoming half marathon or watching Cobra Kai. I am an approachable, kind person and I am really looking forward to tutoring you and helping you achieve your maximum potential!!
I have tutored before in the past and have really enjoyed it. Recently, I helped a grade 5 Maths student achieve grade 9 in his GCSEs for this academic year. I found it highly rewarding seeing them grow as a person and this has given me the motivation and confidence to tutor others. I am currently tutoring a plethora of A level Chemistry students helping them achieve their target grades of As and A*s.
My lessons will be highly interactive. I will start off all my sessions by asking the students what their concerns are in the subject. The majority of the session will be spent consolidating the knowledge of the topic so they fully understand the subject area. At the end of the session I will ensure all concerns have been addressed. I will either end the session by completing exam questions with you or setting exam questions as homework and going through it in the next session. The key to getting A*s in your A levels is exam questions so I will ensure you go into that exam feeling confident with your exam technique.
