Jake Removed is a passionate pianist and
experienced educator based in Birmingham. Born in
Nottinghamshire, Jake was self taught when
he started playing the piano at the age of
12 and quickly developed a deep love for
performance. He began his professional
studies at the Royal Birmingham
Conservatoire in 2020, where he continues to
study piano performance as a postgraduate
under the mentorship of the Associate Head
of Piano, Daniel Browell, and senior lecturer in accompaniment, Robert Markham
Jake has experience teaching students who’s ages range from 4-mature, and standards up to grade 8. He can help with preparation for exams such as ABRSM exams and rock school exams. If you do not want to do exams, or have any other goals in mind, that is great too!
Jake’s teaching approach is centered on fostering confidence, improving technique, and ensuring that learning is both engaging and enjoyable. He utilizes a balanced approach that integrates theory and practice through simultaneous learning, allowing students to develop a deeper understanding of the piano. Whether students are learning for personal enjoyment or aiming for advanced performance goals, Jake tailors his lessons to meet individual needs and progress at each student’s own pace.
