I have a decade of experience working in academia at both the University of Sheffield and the University of Surrey in Computer Science. My own PhD was attained in 2005 working in the area of Computer Graphics and Animation. I specialise in all areas of programming, particularly C/C++. I have a great deal of experience in tutoring students at degree level and greater, but am perfectly happy to teach at a more introductory level.
I have taught seminars, graded coursework, helped design courses at degree level, and have also tutored students to PhD level.
I believe that learning only happens by doing. Tailoring a course to the students individual requirements and the pace at which they can work.
