Hey all! My name's James and I am native English speaker who is a newly qualified TESOL teacher having gained my CELTA qualification last month. I am also DBS certified. Languages have always been a passion of mine, having previously studied French and Italian to an intermediate level. I'll be your friendly, approachable and patient teacher ready to teach you how you want to be taught.

Tutoring Experience

I completed the CELTA qualification where I gained experience teaching pre-intermediate and upper-intermediate learners from all over the world e.g China, Japan, Brazil, Sudan, Iran, Ukraine, Colombia and Italy, just to name a few. I also have a private student. I have experience in teaching grammar, reading, writing, speaking and listening.

You are at the focus of everything I teach. Let me know what you want to learn and how and I will tailor myself to meet your needs. Don't fear. I won't just be reading off slides, but I will get you speaking as much as possible as soon as possible. And you'll be speaking without any fear of making mistakes. Mistakes are the best way we learn.
