Head of English | Top Central London Independent School
Passionate educator with 10 years’ experience inspiring academic excellence and a love for literature.
I am an experienced English teacher with over a decade of success in the UK and internationally. I teach students from Years 7 to 13 and specialise in guiding them to exceptional results.
My expertise includes 11+, Common Entrance, GCSE, A-Level, and International Baccalaureate, with a strong track record of helping GCSE students achieve significant progress in both Language and Literature.
I also hold a TEFL qualification and have tutored children abroad, aged 10-16, in introductory English.
Building a strong, supportive working relationship is at the heart of my approach—one where students feel confident to ask questions and truly engage with the learning process.
I’m passionate about creating a calm and inspiring environment where students can thrive. My teaching is results-driven and feedback-focused, but I also believe learning should be engaging and enjoyable. When students develop a genuine love for the subject, even the most challenging concepts become far more accessible.
I take pride in offering bespoke, one-to-one guidance that builds confidence and creates lasting progress. Watching students overcome challenges and achieve their goals is what motivates me most, and I’m committed to supporting each one every step of the way.
