I am an experienced A level and Degree level tutor who is enthusiastic and keen to ensure students achieve their potential.

Tutoring Experience

I am a qualified teacher and have been teaching for 30 years, most recently at an A level college (Law). Topics covered include the English Legal System (e.g. Parliamentary Law Making/Criminal and Civil Court systems/Judiciary/Legal Precedent/Delegated Legislation/Statutory Interpretation), Crime, Tort, Contract, and Human Rights. I have also written a series of 'topic tests' for Human Rights Law at A level standard.
I also teach Criminology and Ancient History (I am a member of the Roman Society, and the Classical Association).
I have taught at four universities, including subjects such as Law, English as a Foreign Language,and Pre-Sessional (Pre-Masters Law/Academic writing).

I also tutor Law courses online, and have been doing so for 19 years with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) and Cilex Law School (CLS), and currently tutor and teach subjects such as Criminal Law, Civil Law, Criminal Litigation, Succeeding in a Legal Environment, Tort Law, Disclosure, Contract Law at A level and Degree leveI. I am the Chief Examiner for Criminal Law and the Lead Writer for Tort Law (CILEx Professional Qualifications). I also conduct live revision events throughout the the year for CILEx/CLS.
