I've been teaching Maths for six years and love helping students build confidence and succeed. I know that Maths can be challenging, but with the right support and approach, anyone can improve. My aim is to make Maths as clear and engaging as possible, breaking it down in a way that makes sense. Whether you’re looking to boost your grades, tackle tricky topics, or just feel more confident, I’m here to help.
Throughout my teaching career, I have held a variety of roles, including Teacher of Maths, Assistant Faculty Leader, and Head of Maths. These positions have allowed me to develop a deep understanding of curriculum planning, assessment, and effective teaching strategies. I have experience working with students of all abilities, from those who need extra support to high-achieving learners aiming for top grades.
My approach to tutoring is centred around understanding each student’s individual needs and tailoring sessions to maximise their progress. I use clear explanations, step-by-step problem-solving techniques, and real-world examples to make complex concepts easier to grasp. I also emphasise exam techniques and practice to ensure students feel confident and prepared. My aim is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students can ask questions, develop their problem-solving skills, and achieve their full potential.
