My name is James Bird. I was born on 21st April 1979 and I live in Bury St. Edmunds. I work at Cambridge Regional College as a maths lecturer in the international department and the STEM department.
The maths I teach at CRC involves leading full classes and doing tutoring. Previous to this I taught maths and English in Thailand for 3 and a half years. In this time I did a lot of tutoring of A-Level and GCSE so I have a lot of experience doing this. I also have experience in teaching IB maths and the American SAT. I have been teaching and tutoring since 2005.
I am happy to tailor my tutoring to the way a student likes. I can lead or I can let the student lead, depending on the nature of the student and whether it is something the student is learning for the first time or revising again.
