I am a friendly, patient and enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about physics and maths and helping students succeed at A-level.
I can help with any A-level physics, maths or further maths exam board and I also am experienced in preparing students for the Oxford PAT, Cambridge ENGAA and Edexcel AEA university entrance exams.
I can deliver lessons online (Microsoft Teams and OneNote preferred but happy to use other platforms) or in person locally for £40 per hour.
I have been a full time A-level physics and maths teacher at a sixth form college for 10 years and altogether I have over 13 years A-level teaching experience.
Lessons can take whatever format you like - I can teach a topic from scratch, provide a recap of a topic, give worked examples, work on questions with you, or help with something you're doing for homework. I am friendly, approachable and patient and will always check you understand everything. I will find a variety of different ways of explaining tricky concepts.
At A-level, exam technique is crucial - knowing the exact terminology to use in answers, structuring the answer logically, knowing how to tackle a tricky question by breaking it down into manageable steps. These are things I can help with.
