Working at a leading global investment firm
Masters: MSc Management at Imperial College London.
Undergraduate: LLB Law with a Mathematical Economics Dissertation at LSE
I have been a part-time private tutor for 5 years, first at Sixth-Form and then through the LSE tutor programme. I was also the assisting the Legal History professor in my third year, helping him create worksheets for first year students.
Over the years, I have learnt that it is important for the student to feel comfortable to ask questions, even if they are related to the university application process and other extra-curricular activities. This is why I chose act like that of a fellow student. From day one, my tutee and I look over the past papers, highlight the main topics and problems and just work on them. As I am a tutor, not a school teacher, I feel like my job is not to provide the tutee with well-rounded education, but rather to deliver results and reach subject-specific targets.
