Our daughter has autism and had lots of gaps in her learning due to frequent absence from school. Jance was understanding of her needs and was patient and kind with her. Our daughter felt comfortable with Jance, which is unusual for her as she struggles with social communication and anxiety and just goes to show how at ease Jance made her feel. With Jance’s help she was able to exceed her predicted grade for GCSE and gain the required maths grade to be able to study computing at A-Level. Thank you so much!

Jance was a great support to my daughter helping her focus on her core subjects, GCSE English and Maths. Jance had an immediate connection with my daughter and was able to make her feel comfortable and confident with her style and approach to tutoring. This really helped build her confidence and ultimately she passed her exams with a good grade. I would highly recommend Jance.

Very Helpful in boosting confidence

Jance has been working with daughter for the last six months or so and has built up a great relationship with her. Maths has always been my daughter's weakest and most hated subject but she is working really well with Jance and has improved a lot. The main thing that I really appreciate with Jance's tutoring is the trust she built up with my daughter, which was no mean feat! Jance is patient, kind, calm and knowledgeable and my daughter really enjoys working with her.

Jance is a great tutor and my daughter really enjoys the sessions. They do a mix of question examples and it helps with her homework when she get stuck. She has had her tutor for six months now.

Jance contacted me straight away which was fantastic. Super friendly and helpful too. This is in no way negative feedback just unfortunate that our schedules didn’t work together and so I decided not to book in. Had the time slot available been suitable I would have grabbed it!

My daughter thought Jance was great - we found her to be incredibly patient, creative and she also constructively challenged my daughter when learning.

Although still early days, my 6 year old has had 6 sessions with Jance and we can already see a marked improvement in our child's confidence when tackling numbers. Jance is well versed with the updates in the school curriculum and can adapt to a young child's approach in better understanding numbers. We're kept up to speed with our child's progress after each session which is helpful in us keeping the approach somewhat consistent in the rest of the week. We hope with Jance's continued guidance and calm manner, we will see our child's progress continue.

Jance tutored my child for 11+ and I can only give positive feedback on her teaching style. She is patient and kind and made Math fun and understandable for my child. I will be going back to her for KS3 and highly recommend her as a private tutor for Math.

Would highly recommend this tutor, she’s transformed my daughters learning. We came from HK two years ago and I felt my daughter was slightly behind her peers but in a matter of a few weeks Jance worked closely with my daughter increasing her confidence, her vocabulary and helping her understand her classwork better.

Jance has been excellent in getting to know my son during tutoring for his 11 plus. He has gained confidence in mathematics and often talks about topics Jance has begun to tackle with him, such as basic geometry and algebra. My son is quite shy with new grown ups and Jance was able to get know him over the past year; he has built his communication skills with the one-on-one focus that lacks in a big primary school. Jance has given honest feedback to about his strengths and weaknesses and tips for us to work on. My son has gained a lot through his sessions which will stand him in good stead for both the tests and year 6 in general.

As a mature student I was nervous about having to have a tutor again but a Jance has been so incredible! Honesty by far the best maths teacher I’ve ever had!!! Nothing is too much bother! Would recommend to anyone who’s anxious or just needs a little help!

My daughter received one lesson from Jance, and Jance was excellent. Jance assessed her, and quickly identified the problem, and gave us tips on how to support my daughter during the week. However, Jance had a change of situation and due to time constraints was unable to continue tutoring my daughter.

We were very disappointed, but wish Jance all the best.
