Hello. I'm a qualified, current and experienced primary school teacher, who has taught across the primary age range from 4-11 years of age.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a teacher for 33 years and a home tutor for over 8 years. I have been a class teacher throughout the primary phase and also worked as a local authority consultant supporting other teachers. I specialise in KS2 and have helped children successfully prepare for their SATs and grammar school entrance exams. I am also a KS2 SATs exam marker.

Tutoring Approach

I really enjoy 1-1 tutoring as the children make such progress and I can ensure that I'm tailoring my teaching to match their specific needs. Before starting to work with any pupil, I will meet both them and their parents to discuss their requirements.
