My name is Janée, and I have a passion for learning. I have studied Chemistry, Biology, Archaeology, and Asian Studies at the undergraduate level, and have recently completed an MSc in Archaeological Material Science. I find great joy in discovering new ways to apply my scientific knowledge to my studies of art, history and culture. My interest in culture and heritage led me to study abroad for the duration of my master, which allowed me to meet new people and carry out international cultural material studies.
Throughout my university degrees I have actively supported my peers and younger students in understanding and applying course materials. I am experienced in supporting students in their learning when English is their second language. I have also tutored students online, as young as year 6.
I understand that studying can be intimidating and that each student requires a unique approach. I believe that even the most complicated topics can be understood when approached with patience and flexibility. Through active discussions and hands-on participation, learning becomes satisfying rather than stressful. Knowledge can take you around the world, and I hope that upon completing lessons with me students will have confidence in their abilities.
