I am currently a student at the University of Cambridge studying Land Economy(Economics, Law and Environment). I achieved the highest grades in my school in economics at A level, and am passionate in helping others understand this fascinating subject.
I have conducted freelance tutoring in the past for students of all abilities, mainly taking on pupils at GCSE and A level age. I myself have dyslexia and therefore can offer alternative teaching methods to those with learning disabilities who are not best suited to conventional instruction.
I have also been a teaching assistant at a local primary school where for one afternoon a week for a year, I would operate as a classroom aid and help the students with maths specifically. Furthermore, I have tutored several pupils for their oxbridge admissions test and interviews.
I cater lessons to the individual students needs. If they are of a high ability, I am able to provide more challenging lessons and although them to show off their knowledge with well structured answers in practice papers.
I am also experienced at tutoring students with learning disabilities who require different teaching methods. These methods are designed to play into their strengths and learning preferences e.g. be more visual/ auditory.
