Jayne is just a wonderful tutor , my daughter in A level and she has transformed after few months working with Jayne. Mariam loves Jayne and she feels that she is able to teach her the techniques that she wasn’t able to get it from school.

My Daughter went into online tutoring- with great reluctance, and slightly angry ( understatement) at me. By the end of her first hours session with Jayne , She was all smiles and happy for me to book up the next sessions, which was of great relief to me. In Rachael's words " She's really relaxed and friendly, just like Aunty Jo!" Fingers crossed it will help improve her grades!

Jayne supported my daugher for her English language and literature GCSE assessments this year. She has excellent skills as a tutor and very supportive and friendly throughout. My daughter was very pleased with her lessons which improved her confidence.

We had one lesson with Jayne (maybe two?) and although Jayne was very knowledgeable, the internet connection was poor and we had many issues with the connection which was a shame.

Jayne was an efficient, reliable tutor who helped me prepare for my English GCSE Exam. She was friendly and approachable and her help was invaluable. I was currently working at a Grade 7 but with Jayne's amazing help I went on to receive 9s in both my English Literature and English Language exams. Her responses were always detailed, thorough and informative, clearly highlighting the areas I needed to work on while also telling me about the progress I was making which was ideal. I would highly recommend her as a tutor to anyone!

Jayne is an excellent teacher and has a huge amount of knowledge in her subject. She is also very approachable and puts her students at ease therefore the lessons become more engaging and relaxed. She is supporting my son with his A Levels, he is enjoying his time with her and finds her extremely helpful.

Jayne has been very helpful and supportive plus punctual in any messaging. This is our first experience of remote working - but Jayne explained clearly how she would manage it and as well as working directly with my son is also keeping me as a parent up to date.

We look forward to continuing working with Jayne and starting to see improvements where my son is having issues.

This teacher has been a blessing for my academic life, she is definitely a life savour. I was struggling with a module that wasn't directly related to my degree, and I had to submit an essay in a very short period of time that I thought was quite challenging (specially because I am a foreign student and I'm awful writing in English). I was desperate and stressed out, I couldn't sleep properly. Then it's when I created an account on FirstTutors and decided to contact Jayne (about one week before the deadline!). After agreeing on a time for the online sessions, we contacted each other practically every day. He helped me A LOT, even sacrificing the time of her personal time, and shared with my his knowledge in films and digital media, which is plentiful. In the end, I could submit my coursework on time and I am certain I will receive a good mark for it. She is wihout a doubt the best tutor I ever had. It is such a pity that there isn't a higher score than "Excellent".

Jayne is an excellent tutor, focussed and a true professional. She is very encouraging and a master of her subject. Calm, punctual and organized, she quickly established a supportive relationship with my son. My son looks forward to her lessons. I recommend Jayne without any reservations.
