I'm a translator, writer and tutor with an inexhaustible curiosity for languages in all their forms: spoken and written and sung, boardrooms and journals and youth centres. I grew up in England with family speaking Italian, French and German, so I know what it takes to learn a new language or work on your own.

Tutoring Approach

I'll prioritise engaging with what the student brings from their curriculum week-to-week, while introducing materials from the outside world to stimulate their curiosity.
I have experience with national curricula such as IB, A Level, GCSE and 11+. I have also worked towards many different goals, including school-specific entrance tests, and often worked with students who aren't focused on a given curriculum, either because they are soaring ahead of their peers or have to catch up with them (for example, English proficiency for non-native students new to the UK). I pride myself both on my adaptability in using new learning materials, and on my sensitivity in grasping what exactly each student needs.
