I have been teaching Psychology since 2010 and am Head of Psychology across three schools on the Isle of Man. I also work part time as an Assistant Psychologist for CAMHS as well as offering expert psychology tuition.
I have previously worked as an examiner for AQA and have offered private A Level and GCSE tutoring to school age students and adults for the duration of my teaching career. I offer regular lessons, crash course revision, or sessions focussed on marking and feedback. I offer a full GCSE Psychology package for students wanting to do an additional qualification.
I am an experienced UCAS coordinator and so I would also be happy to support students in preparing their university applications, offering guidance on how to enhance their profile and personal statement writing.
I absolutely love teaching my subject and recognise the important role it plays for students beyond a GCSE or A level qualification. My aim is to share my enthusiasm so that studying is enjoyable, rather than a chore.
Through engaging and challenging lessons my goal is to build student confidence, develop study skills and as a result improve grades.
