Jennifer

I am an MSc Cardiovascular Sciences and BSc (Hons) Anatomical Sciences graduate tutoring Biology, Mathematics and combined science. I have experience tutoring a wide range of ages and disciplines and would love to continue. I have A-levels in Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry and AS levels in Physics and Geography.

Tutoring Experience

I am familiar with both English and Scottish curriculum as I carried out a teaching placement through the university and have privately tutored over 20 different students so tutoring is not new territory for me. I have also done primary school English and Maths tutoring as well as providing 1 to 1 higher level anatomy tutoring for some students on my course.

Tutoring Approach

I enjoy tutoring and meeting new students and I am very good at finding new and interesting ways to learn. My tutoring style varies person to person but a typical session will include 5-10 minutes warm up activity and recap of what they have learned followed my a more structured section where we focus on the areas most struggled with, then finally a summary quiz at the end.
