I am an experienced Law Lecturer in undergraduate and post-graduate law programs. I have a PhD in law from the University of Kent, and hold a Masters degree (Distinction) from University College London (UCL).
My current tutoring interests include:
- the English Legal System,
- Constitutional/Public Law,
- Administrative Law,
- EU Law,
- Criminal Law,
- Contract Law
- Banking Law and Regulation, and
- Regulation of Financial Markets.
- International Trade Law
- International Investments Law
- Climate Change Law
I also tutor LLM and PhD students in related areas of law.
My tutoring entails assisting students not only with the content of the course, but also the structure of discussion and argumentation in essays.
I have taught Law for the last 10 years in 3 leading UK universities. I have also tutored law students one-on-on, and via skype, for the last six years
My tutoring entails assisting students not only with the content of the course, but also the structure of discussion and argumentation in essays. I work with the student's specific course material and university-specific appraches to tackling specific modules.
While I enjoy face-to-face interactions with my students, I have found skype sessions as very productive for both the students and I, as we save on travel time, and have the benefit of a lot of material that we would otherwise be unable to drag around to a neutral meeting place. I find that the students are also more comfortable and in control of their learning, where they are in a familiar environment.
