I am a qualified Maths Teacher with 6 years experience working in an inner London School. I have also had 3 years experience marking the GCSE maths papers for Edexcel summer series exams. I am passionate about helping others and have an extensive background in tutoring both in person and online (discount rates available). I have experience with 11+, common entrance, KS3 and KS4 (both foundation and higher). Happy to also do group sessions for discounted rate.

Tutoring Approach

A good relationship is the key for the learning experience of the student. I am calm, patient and approachable, ensuring the students are comfortable and confident in each of the concepts before moving on. If the sessions are online, I use a visualiser and ThinkPad so students can see step by step what the methods are. I also use shared whiteboards to ease communication and allow sessions to run just as they would in person. This, combined with mixture of past paper questions and guided examples means we can effectively work together and keep developing knowledge. I have range of different teaching methods and styles, which I will tailor to the student, developing their confidence and learning, to achieve their desired targets.
