Hello! I’m Jessie and currently part of the senior leadership team at a comprehensive school in Wiltshire. I have always had a passion for science from a young age when my Grandpa took me to the science museum. I love my job as a teacher and really enjoy tutoring 1-1, seeing students achieve their goals is so rewarding!
I have 10 years experience of teaching science to KS3, KS4 and KS5 in a state comprehensive school and 7 years school managerial experience. I have tutored different aged students for over 10 years both through online platforms and face to face sessions. I am currently an AQA examiner for both KS4 and KS5 Physics.
My teaching style is very adaptable to what is needed by the student. Some students prefer to learn interactively with white boards and quizzes while others prefer practicing application with guidance through past exam questions. I have always found practicing past exam questions is key for students to practice applying their knowledge and to be able to identify gaps in their learning or misconceptions.
