I am a happy and engaging teacher. I believe all students have the right to learn and every student can get there target grade or higher. I am to make my lessons engaging and relatable to the students. I have studied well in the subject I want to tutor in and am good at teaching.

In my current school for GCSE the student I taught have achieved a 95% Grade 4 or higher and a 35% grade 7 or higher

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for 3 years, at an Ofsted outstanding school. I am currently mentoring new ECTs to become the best teacher themselves as well

Tutoring Approach

My approach to teaching is that the session should start with something tangable, something relatable that students understand. I give them a concrete idea and build in the science from there. I do this with simple demonstrations just as with a tennis ball, skateboard or water to all the students to build up a concept from something they see every day. Once the basics of a concept are understood then I move into stretching the students to apply it to different situations before eventually moving on towards written questions and independent practice. Though if a concept isn't understood then go back a step and reexplain with a new example.
