I'm a native English speaker from London with a passion for language, learning, and cross-cultural communication. I’ve spent over a decade teaching English, and I love helping students gain confidence and fluency in a relaxed, supportive environment.
I hold a Master’s degree in Russian and Economics from the University of St Andrews and I’m currently working towards an MSc in Psychology. I’ve also lived and worked in a number of countries including Costa Rica, Russia, Thailand, Nepal, and Dubai. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for different cultures and helped me understand the challenges of learning a new language.
In addition to teaching, I’m a qualified yoga instructor and long-time meditation practitioner, which brings a calm, focused energy to my lessons. Whether you're preparing for an exam, improving your business communication, or just want to feel more confident in everyday English, I'm here to help.
I’ve been teaching English for over 10 years, working with students of all ages and levels—from complete beginners to advanced speakers. My experience includes:
One-to-one tutoring
Small group classes
Business English for professionals
Exam preparation (IELTS, TOEFL)
General English (grammar, conversation, pronunciation, writing)
I’m CELTA-certified, which means I’ve been professionally trained to deliver effective and engaging lessons using student-centred methods. I've taught learners from all over the world, both online and in person, and I always tailor my lessons to the individual needs, goals, and interests of each student.
My lessons are practical, engaging, and focused on real-life communication. I usually use a structured coursebook such as Face2Face as the backbone of the course, but I adapt every lesson to match the student's specific goals and learning style. Whether you're focused on speaking fluently, passing an exam, or improving your grammar and vocabulary, we’ll design a plan that works for you.
I believe learning should be enjoyable as well as effective. I use a range of techniques—discussion, role-play, reading, listening activities, and writing practice—to help you improve in all areas of English. I give clear explanations and supportive feedback to help you build confidence and accuracy.
Lessons are typically 90 minutes, but I’m happy to adjust the length based on your needs. I offer both online lessons and in-person sessions in London.
