Jim's Feedback

I have been working with Jim for a few weeks and already feel so much more confident in maths. Jim is very patient and adapts lesson to suit your learning style.

Jim is very organised and thorough. He explains things clearly and has a very structured approach, ensuring understanding of the units and then revisiting to keep on top of everything. My son is very comfortable with him and we are delighted to have him as an tutor.

2 sessions and already feeling confident about my daughter achieving required grade.

Jim is an excellent tutor and would highly recommend. Although my son has only had a few 121 lessons to date he already feels a lot more confident in his ability.
Jim has an excellent relationship with my son and teaches him different ways to approach and solve problems. It definitely goes to show that having a good teacher really does make a difference. I am looking forward to seeing my sons confidence and ability to continue to grow.

My son was struggling with National 5 maths Jim has been only coming a few weeks. My son is very happy with Jim teaching him, he said the way Jim explains things is easy to understand he is friendly and he is has alot of patience.

Jim was a fantastic tutor! He managed to explain everything in clear detail and was very enthusiastic in his teaching style. He was attentive and communicative. I could not recommend him enough!

Jim had my daughter at ease within minutes of meeting. Her confidence in her own ability has soared in the few weeks she has been working with him.

We spoke on the phone and Jim sounded very good. However he has since been very ill and I haven't been able to get in touch with him further.

Jim has been tutoring our daughter for three weeks. We asked him to help her with the work being covered in school (higher) and prepare her for her Int 2 exam in May. Following her prelim, our daughter's confidence was knocked dramatically, but Jim has managed to raise her self esteem.
Jim is highly qualified in his field and manages to make his tutorials enjoyable. He is extremely patient and his teaching methods are clear and simple. I am delighted with the huge improvement my daughter has made in the small period of time that Jim has been with us.

Mr is very thorough in his initial assessment and is great communicating his plans and feedback on progress each week.

I am so glad we were able to find Jim . He has a great deal of experience in teaching Maths at every level as well as an in depth knowledge of what examiners want. My son has changed schools recently and was behind in course work which Jim has helped him to catch up. He has a pleasant manner and we look forward to working with him. I would thoroughly recommend him.
