I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with a first-class biological sciences degree. I have a passion for teaching and love the moment when a child grasps the concept I have laid out for them.

Tutoring Experience

I have teaching experience in reception, KS1 and KS2 and find delight in all of them. Whether your child needs help in phonics, science, maths or English (including SATs) I can support them towards success. I am experienced in supporting children with additional needs including autism, cerebral palsy, English as an additional language and ADHD and love teaching and working with them to help them flourish.

Tutoring Approach

I understand that the relationship with the child is fundamental in teaching and I will work to build your child’s confidence and skills simultaneously. My approach to teaching is to instill confidence back into your child and make learning fun. It is also essential that your child understands where they are on their learning journey, what the next steps are and how we can get there together. I have an enhanced DBS and my first session is completely free!
