My morning ritual includes debating economic theories with my espresso machine—it’s tough, but someone has to keep it grounded. I am a PhD student in Economics (duh!). I thrive on sharing practical tips that help others excel in their studies and grasp complex topics with ease. I am also fluent in 4 languages (English, Mandarin, Malay, Cantonese).

Tutoring Experience

I am a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Glasgow, where I teach Introductory Mathematics and Economics to first and second-year students. I also teach Master’s students to use statistical software for data science. I received the school’s Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2023.

Tutoring Approach

I use a "Student First" approach, where I prioritize the unique needs and interests of each student. By first identifying their areas of difficulty and what genuinely interests them, I tailor my methods to best suit their learning style. I am committed to being flexible and adaptive in my teaching strategies, ensuring that each student feels supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
