I am a dedicated teacher driven by the success of my students, I enjoy teaching difficult concepts thereby helping students to achieve and reach their potential. As science occurs in everyday life, I like to create content that is relevant and engaging to my students. In my spare time, I enjoy running and playing tennis.
I’m a qualified teacher in my fourth year of teaching Science. Specialising in Physics, I teach AQA Science and OCR A-Level Physics at a school in Nottingham. I also tutored throughout university – English and Maths GCSE and coached football for Little Kickers, I have also helped successfully prepare pupils for 11+ entrance exams. Having lived in France for four years and having a French A level I can also provide tutoring for French.
The tutoring session will be evidence based starting with a retrieval element, new content will then be introduced, modelled, and practiced. Sessions finish with assessment questions to help both the pupil and myself have an understanding of the concepts learned and which content needs reinforcing. I will adapt sessions to the individual ensuring that sessions are informative and engaging with an appropriate level of challenge.
