Tutoring Experience

I have 10 years’ experience of secondary school maths teaching, and 9 years of tutoring (both face to face and online). This includes working for the East Sussex Virtual School (Pupil Premium), tutoring looked after children in schools as part of their educational programme.

Tutoring Approach

I aim for my students to enjoy their learning and gain confidence in their mathematical abilities; my tuition is adaptive to students’ needs, including exam preparation and practice, and is used to target specific topics the pupil needs to focus on.
Students have become more confident with their maths after a few of my lessons, and parents have been equally pleased. Pupils can make good progress when they are able to focus on different topics in a one-to-one format at their own pace.
