I am a teacher of Chemistry who has taught for 30 years, mostly as Head of Chemistry. I have recently statrted to tutor students away from the school environment.

Tutoring Experience

I am an experienced teacher of Chemistry / Science and have taught in Worcestershire schools for many years as Head of Chemistry. I am an experienced examiner and trainer for an exam board and have lots of experience of successfully preparing students for exams.

Tutoring Approach

I like to check for prior learning and I tackle misunderstandings through questioning before looking at exam questions to build cofidence. I then prepare students by using exam papers and mark schemes.
