I am an experienced Psychology teacher with a strong academic background and a passion for education. I hold a master's degree in Psychology as well as PGCE in teaching psychology.
Beyond teaching, I have experience leading extracurricular activities and managing academic support services in my previous role as Director of an Academic Support Centre. This has allowed me to work with students of diverse abilities, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
With expertise in social psychology, I am committed to making learning both engaging and effective.
I currently teach A-Level Psychology at a sixth-form college and work as an AQA A-Level examiner, which has given me in-depth knowledge of exam structures, mark schemes, and effective exam techniques.
My teaching methodology is student-centered, focusing on active engagement, critical thinking, and real-world applications of psychological concepts. I tailor my lessons to individual learning styles, using a mix of discussion-based learning, interactive activities, and exam-focused strategies to ensure students develop both subject knowledge and exam confidence.
