I am a passionate teacher of Computer Science who enjoys helping others learn and become more confident in the subject that I enjoy.
I have 2 years of experience teaching at a High School with 6th form. I teach KS3 Computing, GCSE Computer Science and A Level Computer Science and produce good outcomes from my students.
I have also tutored a Computer Science student taking them from a grade 4/5 to grade 8/9 in the subject.
My approach is to assess where a pupils strengths and weaknesses are and ensure that I fill in the gaps. With a focus on helping students to gain some independence in their learning especially in regards to programming. I also give targeted advice around how a student can approach their exams and the revision that they are engaging with to ensure they put their effort into the right places.
