I achieved three A grades in A Levels – Politics, History, and Economics – which laid a strong academic foundation for my pursuit of a degree in Economics. My interest in the subject stems from a desire to understand how societies function and how policy decisions shape real-world outcomes. Alongside my studies, I’ve developed a deep passion for tutoring. I find great satisfaction in helping students grasp complex ideas and gain confidence in their abilities. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a student’s progress, whether it's improving their grades or developing a genuine interest in the subject. Tutoring allows me to combine my knowledge with communication skills, adapting my approach to suit each individual’s learning style. It’s this dynamic and personal aspect of teaching that drives me. I'm committed to making learning accessible and enjoyable, and I take pride in fostering both academic success and a deeper understanding of the material.

Tutoring Experience

In 2024, I successfully tutored students in both History and Economics at GCSE and A Level, with each achieving A grades. My approach focused on building strong essay-writing skills, deep subject understanding, and exam technique. I tailored lessons to each student’s learning style, breaking down complex topics and encouraging critical thinking. Watching their confidence and performance grow was incredibly rewarding. Additionally, I understand the struggle students go through at schools that are under-financed and therefore my tutoring offers a detailed action plan to help develop your child's confidence in a low pressure environment.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is a mixture of fun and a relaxed approach where I will ensure your child will develop knowledge lesson upon lesson and gradually develop the confidence and belief they have what it takes to achieve their and your desired grade.
I incorporate fun activities with examination based lessons to desensitise students to the pressure of the exams, releasing the pressure and allowing for confidence in the exam room.
