Hi! My name is Julia. I have 17 years of experience working in primary schools both at home and abroad as a primary school teacher and a language teacher (PGCE/QTS). I can teach any core curriculum subject, as well as educational robotics to children (programming, such as Scratch). I also teach Spanish. I have been living in Spain for 9 years and I use this language almost exclusively every day. I have a master's degree in TESOL, which allows me to better comprehend and teach non-native speakers. Moreover, I work with SEN children.
I enjoy teaching, and I hope you will enjoy learning with me. So, what do you want to work on? I am confident that we can do it! I've worked with students of various ages, but I'm a true expert on the primary curriculum. We will focus on writing and reading fluency if a child has trouble with spelling and decoding. I also teach educational robotics to children, which teaches them to program and design their own video games! Robotics is an excellent skill for future career development too! Furthermore, I teach Spanish and English as a second language. You will require a printer to print the worksheets and homework for each lesson.
I am a structured and well-organized person. I plan my lessons and think ahead. I am concerned about my students' progress. I am flexible. You are always welcome to approach me. Depending on the individual and their needs, I use a variety of approaches, methods, and skills. I guarantee you will progress with one condition- both of us will work hard and try our best! See you at the lesson!
