I am a qualified Mandarin tutor (PTLLS Level 3) from China. I am a native Mandarin speaker and I have 15 years experience in tutoring both children and adults with varying abilities.

I'm teaching: Speaking, Reading, Writing, through Chinese Music, Songs, Art, Calligraphy, Cultural events, Games...

My outgoing and friendly demeanour ensures both children and adults will be confident and relaxed during the class. I try to maintains a professional, calm atmosphere, keeping control of the class whilst engaging my students, enabling them to obtain the most knowledge in the least amount of time.

In the short amount of time spent with my students, their Mandarin skills has improved overall dramatically, especially their speaking. All of my students (more than 100) has shown great interest in continuing with my Mandarin course and tutoring. Some of them have been studying with me for 7 - 8 years since they were primary school students and now they are studying GCSE lessons.

So far, 100% of my students obtain A - A* in their GCSE Mandarin exam.
